INTRODUCTION

     First off all , Wedding is the ceremony event in which two people are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Most wedding ceremonies involve an exchange of , presentation of a gift (offering, ring(s), symbolic item, flowers, money), and a public proclamation of marriage by an authority figure or leader. Special wedding garments are often worn, and the ceremony is sometimes followed by a wedding reception. Music, poetry, prayers or readings from religious texts or literature are also commonly incorporated into the ceremony.

In Malay culture , usually most of Malays are Muslim , thus the marriage and wedding ceremony are strictly according to the Syari'a laws.Apart from that , the culture also has it owns wedding tradition and customs.It is also varies from places , states and also family. However , in this blog , i will explain the most basic wedding tradition and customs , which  i will explain in details in the next posts.
